General Director of Red Crescent of Khorasan Razavi said: RCS sites across the province are ready to serve the mourners during the month of Muharram and Safar throughout the day.

“Dr Seyed Mojtaba Ahmadi” added: 22 road site and 17 Red Crescent branches in the cities are ready to give a good service to the Pilgrims and mourners of Imam Husain.

He said: To assist and provide services to afoot pilgrims, Red Crescent sites are stationed in the road in the form of “Mehr Rizwan project” as in previous years.

General Director of Red Crescent of Khorasan Razavi added: Relief and Rescue Operation for Pilgrims is performed   in cooperation with Emergency and Mobilization of Medicine Organization.

He said: Provide services to more afoot pilgrims in the last decade of Safar simultaneously with the Days of Imam Reza martyrdom and Death of The Holy Prophet, represents a different mode.

General Director of Red Crescent of Khorasan Razavi expressed: On Ashura and Tasua is Attempting to establish the Red Crescent sites as in the past but because of the continuous co-ordination with Astan Quds Razavi in this field , the number of the Red Crescent sites in the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) has not been finalized.

Also he added: Last year entrance recorded 220 thousand pilgrims walk in Khorasan Razavi and this year it is also expected that number will rise to 300 thousand.
